Vintage 80's AFB Braille Watch

Movement ETA2801-2

In the 40s, the American Foundation for the Blind started to make their own braille watches, many for WWII veterans returning from the warfront.

This 1980s version is in excellent cosmetic condition with a still pristine white dial and a clean manual wind movement. A compact 34mm case makes it suitable for both men and women. Note the protected cover that flips upwards using a hinge at 12 o'clock.

Case size: 34mm
Thickness: 8.8mm
Lug to lug: 37mm
Lug width: 16mm
Watch only, no box or papers.

Aftermarket stainless steel bracelet in mint condition.

Total length is 16cm, including 3cm folding clasp.

Examine photos before bidding, as they are a key part of the description. Any defects not mentioned but visible in the pictures will be considered as described.
